This 2cd is in one word a magical experience.

Without no doubt in my mind this long awaited release

from the boys from Rocket Scientists is the best what I have

heard in a long long time. This maybe sounds to euphoric for some people but it is the truth.

You can place Rocket Scientists in the same mayor Progressive line

as Spock’s Beard, Transatlantic, Flower Kings, Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation and so on.

Let talk about the music, the keys are wide but don’t dominate the overall sound. The vocals are crystal clear and Mark McCrite guitar playing is outstanding. Just listen to the previews. There isn’t one song that disappoints.

This release should easily please every Progressive rocker and at the same time surprise all the rest of you all. This album has the making of a Progressive Rock Classic.

My favourite tracks are from

disc 1:

1.      Sky is falling

2.    Outside the painted walls

3.    Gypsy

Disc 2

1.      UFO

2.    Pay your dues

3.    After the revolution

So you progressive rockers out there get the hell out

of your seats and buy this great album.

100 %

ROCKET SCIENTISTS FIRST CD RELEASE IN 8 YEARS EXCEEDS SALES EXPECTATIONS
"Revolution Road" enters 2nd pressing prior to street date

For immediate release
October 24, 2006

Los Angeles, CA -  Due to its overwhelming popularity. the new epic double album, "Revolution Road" by acclaimed American progressive rock legends Rocket Scientists has already exceeded sales expectations prior to its November 7th, 2006 street date. Pre-sales orders have already catapulted the CD into a second pressing, an unexpected feat after the project's 8 year hiatus. Enthusiastic reviews have already appeared worldwide in publications such as ProgressiveWorld, The Doorway, Burrn!, Euro Rock Press, Empire, Strange Days, Morrigans Pit, and Kinesis. In addition. numerous radio stations are already providing airplay and Rocket Scientists is scheduled to perform on April 28th, 2007 at the prestigious Rites of Spring Festival in Pennsylvania.

Combining Rocket Scientists' extraordinary blend of melodic and memorable songwriting with adventurous instrumental fireworks, "Revolution Road" takes the band to new heights of artistic achievement. Founding members Mark McCrite (guitar, vocals), Erik Norlander (keyboards) and Don Schiff (NS/Stick) started writing and demoing songs for the album in 2002 and even played some California concert dates. But following the loss of their drummer, Shaun Guerin, the project was put on hold. The three musicians continued to collaborate on other projects including Lana Lane's "Winter Sessions" and "Lady Macbeth" CDs and Norlander's "Music Machine" concept album. Norlander also produced Don Schiff's remarkable 2005 solo album, "Peering Over Clouds". But following the Lana Lane 10th Anniversary Tour in 2005, McCrite, Norlander and Schiff officially reunited again as Rocket Scientists and began to record this new studio opus.

"Revolution Road" brings two new musicians to the Rocket Scientists universe. Drummer Gregg Bissonette, who previously played on Norlander's "Music Machine" and Lana Lane's "Covers Collection" and "Winter Sessions" CDs, brings his dynamic versatility and technical excellence to the band. South Carolina's David McBee (Teer) has also been brought in as the second lead vocalist. McBee's powerful hard rock vocal ethic is the perfect contrast to McCrite's smooth and warm vocal stylings. Together, the two vocalists are a formidable pair that take Rocket Scientists to new uncharted worlds. "Revolution Road" is produced by Erik Norlander, and it contains stunning artwork from Polish surrealist Jacek Yerka who painted the cover to the band's last album, "Oblivion Days", Schiff's solo album, "Peering Over Clouds", as well the unforgettable covers that appear on the many famous Lana Lane albums. "Revolution Road" is a new milestone for Rocket Scientists, and it is one that will surely send the band to new altitudes. The album was released in Japan (Avalon) on September 23, 2006, and is scheduled for release in Europe and the USA on Think Tank Media (distributed by ProgRock Records/Ryko) on November 7th, 2006.
