The Merlin Band – Reason and Rhyme (2006)

This cd from melbourne based is very suprising.

It never bores but yet the opposite.

My first impression is a mix of Early Clannad,

Fortheringay, Lorrena Mckennitt meets Nick Drake

and the October Project.

The music itself gives you a good feel and its a joy to listen to.

Something as good as this has to be shared

with the rest of the world and not just down under.

Also it’s progressive enough to be featured on The Doorway.
