“Golden Image was created in 1999 by the talented guitarist and songwriter Dave Johnson. Dave met up with bassist George Hollenbeck and eventually drummer Todd Winkler and the magic of creation evolved.

The ability for the music to fit into several different genres

is what makes this group unique and exciting.”

“In 6 short months, the crew had finalized 18 songs total. Mostly new songs with some re-arrangements and rewrites of older ones. As Dave often says, "A musical chemistry rarely, if ever, comes around like this”. The group recently finished its debut CD, Momentum, which went on sale the first official day of summer 2006.”

“We are excited to get it out to everyone” says drummer Todd Winkler, “Our purpose is our love of music - and like Dave says, the ‘chemistry’ of creating it!” The project was done completely under wraps over the past year to avoid a miscommunication of the bands musical concept and to foster the element of surprise.”
