Paul Masvidal (vocals, guitar, guitar synth)

Paul Masvidal lives in Los Angeles, CA where he and Sean Reinert are busy with Aeon Spoke. The band has been playing in the LA area and have gained quite a following. They have already released two EP's and finished recording their debut LP in February of 2003. Paul has a home studio in LA where he spends most of his time writing and recording songs. He has also been scoring music for short films and various freelance music gigs for TV networks.

Sean Reinert (acoustic/electronic drums, keyboards)

Sean Reinert currently lives in Hollywood, CA nearby Paul where he works as an engineer at Capitol Mastering in the Capitol records building. He has also been composing quite often with Paul on various soundtrack projects for television, movies and commercials as well as engineering independent releases and doing some session work. It should be noted that, through it all, Paul and Sean's primary focus is still Aeon Spoke and most of their energy is put into that.

Jason Gobel (guitar, guitar synth)

Jason Gobel is now living in Portland, Oregon with his wife Cynthia and two children. Jason's son, Jason Jr., is just learning how to play the guitar and recently got his new classical guitar from his dad. He is currently not involved in any new projects but has been enjoying spending his time writing and recording his own material in his home studio. According to Jason, some of his best memories are from the time he spent in Cynic where he experienced a musical and creative freedom which has been difficult to match since.

He continues to do session work with many different artists as well as spend a lot of time on his solo project Gordian Knot. Tony Teegarden (vocals, keyboards)

Tony Teegarden is currently still living in Tampa, Florida where he owns his own business and is doing quite well. Tony is an entreprenuer (along with his wife Tonia) in a company called Prepaid Legal Services Inc. and says that "it's a great feeling to be in control of my own destiny and helping mentor and guide others toward the same goal of finacial independence." He is still very active as far as music goes and about a year and a half ago recorded a song for a movie sound track (he recorded guitar, keyboards and did actual singing and death vocals). He's currently happily married (since 2000) and says he is "just really enjoying life right now". Some bands/music that Tony has been listening to include Frank Gambali and Scott Henderson. As well, he has not denied his metal roots and listens to bands such as Mudvayne, Killswitch Engage, Pulse Ultra and a very technical death metal band out of Florida called Capharnaum who are "much in the vein of the Cynic '90 demo but crazier!" They aren't signed yet but expect they will be soon. Most recently, Tony has hooked up with a band called Adrift whose lineup includes the likes of Jack Owen of Cannibal Corpse and a long time friend Kevin Astl. Tony contributed a song called Broken Mirror to the group and it can be heard at Adrifts' website at the above link.

Tony Choy (bass)

Tony Choy is currently playing bass and singing vocals with a Latin musical group named AREA 305 who are based in the South Florida area around Miami. Area 305 has just recently released their self-titled debut album and their music has been described as "combining hot Latin beats, virtuoso musicianship and a wall of brilliant vocal harmonies...Area 305 are igniting airwaves and dancefloors everywhere." The group has had much success with Latin audiences, in particular, across South America and the Caribbean so Tony has certainly been putting in his "road time" as of late.

Chris Kringel (bass)

One thing is certain when it comes to Chris Kringel, he has not been idle since his days in Cynic. Chris currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he plays bass for a long standing and well known local blues band called Group Therapy and has also been helping out in many other acts around town including local Jazz favorite Barbara Stephani (see LINKS page for all of the bands). Chris is an alumnus of The Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA and the author of the Play Bass Today! - Level One and Level Two instructional books. He has appeared on recordings by artists such as Inda Eaton, Jack Grassel, Jeff Schroedl, and Kirk Tatnall and has authored many Hal Leonard instructional books/CDs. Chris is endorsed by top bass manufacturers Warwick and Stuart Spector Design and he currently teaches bass, performs live and in the studio for several different artists in the Milwaukee area and is working on his first solo album. He has just started his new band Atomic Willis and has opened his new personal website.
